Community Space
Oyate Group’s community space, located in the Mott Haven neighborhood of The Bronx, is home to the organization’s offices and programming. The state-of-the-art facilities offer an ergonomic working space with access to over a dozen Mac desktops and high-speed Internet, a presentation space with a projector and various TVs and a full-service kitchen.
Event Space
The ample and luminous office is open to the community, including students who need a space to study and participants of Community Capital, Oyate Group’s entrepreneurship incubator. Oyate Group’s offices hosts participants of its internship program for undocumented high schoolers, Beyond Rising, on Fridays throughout the summer where they receive their weekly stipend and participate in career readiness programming and team building events. Previous years’ Beyond Rising participants can be found at the office in the afternoons for tutoring, meals and mentoring throughout the school year.
The space is also host to local community-based organizations and leaders’ events, workshops, art openings and more with the common goal of uplifting our community.
