Oyate Group partners with We Speak NYC to offer free English classes to the community.

Participants practice speaking English while also learning about immigrant rights and New York City services.

About We Speak NYC

We Speak NYC is the City’s free English language learning program developed by the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs. We Speak NYC provides civic-focused instruction through videos, web and print materials and free community classes in all five boroughs.

Who Can Attend

  • Age 18 and older

  • Beginner level English speakers

  • Anyone regardless of documentation status

Class Schedule

  • Starts Wednesday May 8th

  • Meets 1x a week for 8 weeks

  • 6:00 – 8:00 pm
